Adventure rules here
Spark your child’s imagination, build their social skills, and help them develop more confidence by enrolling them in a KINHALL after-school program. As part of a small group, your child will practice turn-based interactions, collective problem solving and decision-making, and play an active role in telling a story all their own. All without a screen or device!
No experience required. Everything provided.
After-school tabletop roleplaying programs for young people aged 9–12
More than a game
Around a table, players create characters, explore imaginary worlds and decide together what happens next. Along the way, they're imagining, communicating, solving problems, making decisions and working as a group. And, importantly, having a great time doing it.
Imagination
Create new worlds.
Communication
Share ideas and listen.
Problem-solving
Find creative solutions.
Collaboration
Work together.
Confidence
Make choices & speak up.
Belonging
Have a place in the story.
It’s all about imagining, not winning.
Tabletop roleplaying is collaborative storytelling.
A facilitator describes the world and what's happening. Each player controls a character and decides what they want to do.
Explore the cave? Talk to the dragon? Search for clues? Try something nobody else has thought of?
Sometimes dice determine what happens next. There isn't one correct answer — and there isn't one winner.
The players create the story together.
Built for beginners
You don't need to know the rules. Neither does your child.
KINHALL programs are designed to make starting easy.
No books to read. No characters to create beforehand. No dice or equipment to buy.
We provide everything and teach the game as we play.
Participants just need to bring curiosity.
Not just for gamers
Tabletop roleplaying is something everyone can get into. Yes, even you.
Some kids love fantasy and games. Others love books, puzzles, drawing, acting, strategy, inventing characters or making people laugh. Some are the first to speak. Others prefer to listen and think before offering an idea.
There's no single way to be good at tabletop roleplaying.
The table is better with all kinds of people around it.
